Most people acknowledge that a Web site is essential for all businesses and organizations. So once you have this asset, what do you do with it, how do you improve it, and how can you tell if it's working to achieve your objectives?

A good place to start is applying Web analytics to your site. Web Analytics is the collection, analysis, and reporting of data about Web site usage by visitors and customers. This information is used to better understand the effectiveness of online initiatives and other changes to a Web site so that business performance can be improved.
