Committees

Executive Leadership
The executive leadership team for the Boston Chapter of the American Marketing Association consists of three members: the President, the President-elect and the Immediate Past President.

Brand Committee
The Brand Committee is the champion of our brand strategy, ensuring that the chapter Mission, Vision and Values govern our actions in a way that is understandable and usable; that everything we say and do looks feels and sounds like 'AMA Boston'; and that we meet brand expectations for each group of stakeholders.

Programming Committee
The powerful events we create every month for the members are the primary product of the chapter. The Programming committee works tirelessly to develop, recommend and implement terrific programs for the regular chapter events. The programming committee relies on demographic and survey data to select the programing topics and speakers that our members find most valuable throughout the year.

Sponsorship Committee
As a volunteer, non-profit organization, we rely on sponsors to support our efforts. The Sponsorship Committee identifies chapter needs that may be supported by corporate sponsorship and coordinates programs to involve the business community in chapter affairs.

Communications Committee
The Communications Committee is the voice of the chapter. The committee manages the communications calendar, creates and sends email blasts and develops a publicity program with measurable results for the year.

Membership Committee
Without satisfied members the chapter would cease to exist. The Membership Committee works to organize and conduct member recruitment and retention programs for the chapter as well as handling all membership requests and updates.

Volunteers Committee
Volunteering for the American Marketing Association is very rewarding and the Volunteer Committee makes it all work. The Volunteer Committee handles all requests for a position on various committees, whether they have just a few hours to give or want to make a serious commitment.

Operations Committee
The Operations Committee prepares Board minutes, maintains chapter historical records, communicates with the Internation AMA office and keeps current with the AMA activities.

Information Services Committee
The Informations Services Committee manages and maintains all of the Chapter's databases, email systems, intranet and website.

Collegiate Relations Committee
The Collegiate Relations Committee assists local collegiate chapters and provides for an exchange of benefits between the professional and collegiate chapters.
