Dave is the founder and President of Cognito. He brings twelve years of Brand Identity and Graphic Design experience to the process of helping organizations achieve the utmost recognition. Prior to founding Cognito in 2001, Dave was the Graphic Designer and Associate Art Director at the Boston University Corporate Education Center. There, he conceptualized, designed, and directed all marketing communications for five profit centers. After significantly increasing student enrollment through effective, eye-opening visual communications, Dave realized that it was time to start his own firm. He has been published worldwide in numerous publications on Brand Identity and Logo Design.

Dave received his B.A. in Graphic Design with a concentration in Art from Westfield State College. In his spare time, you can find him in his color lab trying to produce colors that have not yet been invented.
