Derek Fairchild began his more than 20 years in sales in the international market, including seven years as Export Manager for Diamond Machining Technology. Transitioning to domestic sales for less travel, Derek worked for the business printing division of IKON Office Solutions where he developed large sales accounts and trained new sales representatives. Derek was then employed by Optima Worldwide Shipping Corp. where he sold freight shipping services to businesses and pioneered new markets for company growth. He is currently the Business Development Officer for Synergy Graphic Solutions , a full service printer in Marlborough.

He co-founded the networking group Masterminds for business to business sales professionals in Eastern Massachusetts.

Derek has a BS double major in International Relations and History from Boston University. He spends his free time skiing, playing softball, and enjoying time with his family.
