About the speakers:

Scott White, Senior Vice President and Principal Recruiter at HireMinds

Scott has 20 years of experience recruiting communications and marketing professionals across a range of industries with a special focus on pharma, biotech and medical device companies. When he’s not recruiting, he loves to travel, work on home projects and sing while riding his Peloton, hoping no one can hear him.

Josh Fialky, VP, Director, Talent Acquisition at Havas Media

Josh joined Havas Media in September 2016. IN his current role, Josh oversees the TA team, setting recruitment strategies, internship programs and assists with various DEI efforts. Prior to joining Havas as a recruiter, Josh has over 20 years of experience in media and agencies, mostly focused on Paid Search and worked across clients within pharma, QSR, e-commerce and B2B.

When recruiting for roles within Havas, Josh concentrates mostly on Analytics and Biddable media. Josh was voted Runner Up in the Campus Recruiting Choice Awards in 2021 for the Exceptional Leaders category.

Josh graduated with a degree in Journalism from the University of Rhode Island. His experiences as a campus leader and mentor to first-year students continue to drive his involvement and passion for campus recruitment. When not working on finding awesome talent for Havas Media, Josh is spending time with his family, seeing live music and enjoying all that New England has to offer.

Tim Walsh, Founder and Managing Partner at Vetted

Tim has been a recruiting leader in the Boston area for more than 15 years. After making a career transition from marketing to recruiting in 2003, he began a run of eight consecutive years as the top-performing recruiter for a boutique search firm in Cambridge, MA. There, he placed top marketing, sales, product, analytics & professional services talent with software, e-commerce & marketing services companies, which remains his focus today.

After co-founding ConnectedSearch in 2012 and overseeing revenue growth from zero to $2 million, he sold his practice and, after five years spent with two other specialty recruiting firms, launched Vetted with the goal of creating a more forward-thinking boutique recruitment and career services firm, one that gives back in meaningful ways to the communities it serves while providing best-in-market talent acquisition services to some of the most interesting companies in Greater Boston.

Tim lives in Arlington, MA, with his wife and two children. When he’s not attending one of his son’s baseball or hockey games, or his daughter’s theater or musical performances, he’s probably listening to alternative rock (Buffalo Tom, Courtney Barnett, Pearl Jam, Liz Phair and Veruca Salt are among favorites) or sports talk radio, avidly following the latest exploits of the Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins and, especially, Patriots.
