Through our extensive programming schedule, we provide a mix of networking, leadership, and educational opportunities designed to support you and your marketing goals and career path. Explore one event series or navigate your way through all of them throughout the year.
AMA Boston Marketing Leadership Forums
An annual blowout event that features speakers you normally wouldn’t hear from. These experts tackle big ideas that we think are on the leading-edge and are having (or will have) a big impact on marketing. Top experts in their field typically headline this event, including a few accomplished marketers putting those ideas to work for their brands. Our last Forum featured an accomplished brand manager from Gillette, a top Big Data expert from the Harvard Business School, an internationally recognized neuromarketing expert and one of the key marketing minds behind Snoop Dogg’s creative reinvention and re-branding as Snoop Lion.
AMA Boston Connector Series
This is a unique learning and networking experience where a subject matter expert facilitates discussion about a specific marketing topic (e.g., content marketing, SEO, video integration). Attendees are then organized into small, collaborative groups and are asked two questions about the topic at hand. Once feedback is captured from individual groups, results are shared with event attendees in real-time. The Connector Series is highly interactive and offers a great opportunity to build new relationships with like-minded professionals or engage with established connections.
AMA Boston Fireside Chats
A more intimate and direct communication format that typically consists of 1-2 industry thought leaders or a best selling author. The speaker(s) discuss a current hot topic or the highlights of a new book release. This casual format allows the audience to heavily guide the discussion.
Boston is THE educational and technology hub so it makes for our chapter to partner with fellow associations to provide you with as much value as possible! This is why we have joined forces with established organizations such as:
MITX – the premier Internet business and marketing association in New England
MarketingProfs.com – collects the best voices in marketing—folks who are practitioners, academics, consultants, authors, bloggers, coaches, students, trainers, and so on—in one place.
